A long history in sound, light and AV
Through the acquisition of Tuxen AV Center and DPA Soundco, we have taken advantage of the synergies that have been obvious in terms of offering a wide range of skills and equipment to serve businesses, organizations and institutions with professional solutions for running major events.
Tuxen AV-Center has roots dating back to 1955, when Tuxen Foto opened in the heart of Copenhagen.
Tuxen Foto became Tuxen Foto & AV-Center in the late 80s, and the development from slides and film to modern AV equipment based on computer technology and sound became an essential part of Tuxen AV-Center.
DPA Soundco has been around since 1980.
It started as a small sound company supplying crew and sound equipment to Danish fusion bands.
Later, the company grew with bands such as Tøsedrengene, News, Halberg Larsen and One Two.
In the 90s, the Aarhus-based company Soundco was taken over and DPA Soundco became a supplier to names like TV-2, Gnags, Henning Stærk and Michael Lears to Rock.
The company also began supplying equipment and crew to major Danish festivals such as Roskilde Festival, Grøn Koncert, Skanderborg Festival and others. With their strong competencies, DPA Soundco will continue to deliver sound to our customers.
